Before you began: There are old code meters in this skin, I’m working on an update -but- I don’t know when I will be done. The skin with the old code should still work though on your system, It’ll use more CPU usage as a result. On average 13%
I call this one Cosmetics, and there’s a story behind it.
It goes; I always start a skin with inspiration from the wallpaper I choose to use.
In this case, the wallpaper I have with cosmetics came from a live wallpaper I saw over at the DeviantArt Group Xwidgets (a screenshot if you will), the live wallpaper can be found at – www.deviantart.com/rainysoft/a….
If you use Cosmetics with RainWallpaper you will have to rearrange everything because Cosmetics doesn’t align with the wallpaper effect.
So I grabbed the screenshot and thought this would make a good stage. And thus I began creating (… making meters and such …). Evidently, Cosmetics, and I proudly say, “Is, my best work to date.” Likewise admitting, I can see some of the design needs work done on the RSS feed meter and the Music Player (Aimp.ini).
I also understand I could have done better with the meters. Meaning, I could have ordered (arranged) them in a more fashionable manner. And I may fix them in a future version.
But I’m not sure, because I do have a day job believe it or not. TG
Originally I was going to make a one-monitor cosmetic skin and then as I began to create it, as it turned out I ended up with this two-monitor cosmetic skin.
I spent an estimated sixty-plus hours (8 Days) working on this skin. The bugs wouldn’t go away and I didn’t stop seeing room for cosmetic improvements.
Cosmetics was built using Rainmeter version 4.3.1.3321

TIP: The best way to start Cosmetics;
Install Cosmetics just as you would any other Rainmeter skin -but- don’t load any of the included “Layouts”, instead have Rainmeter running with no skins loaded, go to!Rainmeter\Skins\Cosmetics One\Wallpaper\010.png, right-click 010.png and “Set as desktop background”, make sure the setting is set to “Fill” in Personalization\Background in the Windows 10 Setting app.
Then right-click on the Rainmeter icon in the systems tray, go to Layouts, and choose any of the Cosmetics Layouts. The (as you may know) heavier the layout the more CPU usage will occur. The layout “Cosmetics” will use less of the CPU than any of the other Cosmetics layouts.
I debated if I was going to release this skin as it is or continue to make it much better. Obviously, I chose to release it. And now that I have, “Let the inspiration begin.” HINT, HINT!!!
Let’s see them “Shadow Figures Animate”
There really aren’t any names given to the shadow figures. But if you want to name them, we would have, from left to right, Lita Ford, Bruno Mars, Queen Bee, and Perhaps Dave Mustaine. Lol.
And that’s just from the top of my head.
Quite a mix, I know. I wasn’t aiming for a specific musical group (guess I should have), I just wanted to get my idea out there. I’ve never seen anyone do anything like this with a rainmeter and would like to see it happen. Happy Shadow Figure Ani Making This could take Rainmeter to a completely different level if it hasn’t already done so, and we don’t know it. I always have given thought to; … all the computer monitor designs we see on TV Shows and movies are, … RAINMETER. Is that a job?
As you may have noticed in the screenshot the Top Running Process is Rainmeter at a very high percentage, rainmeter isn’t using that much of the CPU, the meter is collecting all of the running processes and showing that percent usage. The average CPU usage Rainmeter uses while the default layout “Cosmetics” is active, reveals its 10%.
All the instances of “!Execute & !Rainmeter Bangs” have been removed and the correct usage of the “UseageMonitor” and the Measure “WebParser” have been implemented.

All other meters and their designs are by Thinkr8
There are Animated poles -activated by a ShadowMan- (AniPoles), and the T-8 App Launcher can be switched over to the judges. Or if you want to call them the audience you can do that. Adding the “Crowd” (Concert Fans) is done by activating the layout, “Cos_all4performers_nCrowd.”
